Special Classes:

Adaptive Dance & Gymnastics (Ages 7+) This class will be adapted to fit the needs of the students in the class.  We want everyone to be able to participate in dance.  So, if your body only works in certain ways, we can accommodate that.  In this 30-minute class, athletes that have disabilities are exposed to the general components of a ballet and jazz routine, such as turns, jumps and tumbling. Athletes are taught the precision of dance movements and work on memorization as they put them in sequence to music. Additionally, athletes participating in Adaptive Dance & Gymnastics class are introduced to the fundamentals of jumps and leaps, working on strength, flexibility, bridge, somersault, handstand, cartwheel, and more. Lastly, dancers work on basic turns such as chainés and single pirouettes, which challenge and strengthen their core and balance. These elements are put together into a fun and exciting dance routine that the dancers then perform at the recitals. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Monthly Tuition: $30 Teacher: Shyla Bradley Adaptive Ninja Warrior Parkour (Ages 6+) This class will be adapted to fit the needs of the students in the class.  We want everyone to be able to participate in Parkour.  So, if your body only works in certain ways, we can accommodate that.  In this 30-minute class, athletes that have disabilities are exposed to the general components of strength, flexibility and balance while challenging participants through fun. This beginner, 30-minute class is really good for your child. It teaches younger students how to listen to a teacher and make his body do what the teacher says.  It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more.  All in a naturally challenging and rewarding environment. Performance: Winter & Spring Showcase (not part of recitals) Monthly Tuition: $30 Drop-in Price: $10 Teachers: Nick Curtis and assistant Sing, Dance, Play – Parent and Child(ren) (Ages 1-4) This 10-week class combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of unstoppable bonding, learning, and fun! Emotional development is nurtured through dancing, moving, feeling, and seeing. Your bond with your child is strengthened through spending quality time celebrating your child (and your inner child!). Balance and rhythm is developed by enhancing motor skills and learning to bounce to the beat. Your child will develop social skills by interacting with other kids and solving puzzles. Also, if a student needs to catch up on missed choreography, they can schedule a private lesson. Private Lessons can be scheduled for Dance, Acro, possibly Gymnastics, and possibly Ninja Warrior Parkour. Grand Dance (Ages 4.5-6) NEW CURRICULUM AND NEW TEACHER FOR 2019-2020! In this 30-minute introductory class dancers will learn Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and creative movement for students 4 ½ to 6 years of age. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet and jazz steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement and gross motor skill development games in a positive and fun environment. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance.  THIS YEAR WE ARE ADDING TWIRL TO THE GRAND DANCE CLASS!!  The TWIRL experience will add a little sparkle and merriment to your existing class curriculum! Twirl will help create a lively setting with imaginative activities that your youngest kids will love! In this 45-minute class, dancers will learn Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical.  Dancers will learn dance technique in a fun and rewarding way! Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Monthly Tuition: $37 Styles of Dance: Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical Teacher: Sari Jacobson Angelina Ballerina (Ages 5.5-7) NEW CLASS IN 2019-2020! Angelina Ballerina is a 35-minute class for students ages 5 ½ to 7. This class will be fun and dancers will begin to learn proper ballet technique and form based on the beloved Angelina Ballerina character.  Your child will be inspired to pursue their dreams of dance, just like Angelina Ballerina! Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Suggestions: Wear pink ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: all black) Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $33 Teacher: Miranda Straka Beginner Ballet (Ages 8+) Beginner Ballet is is a 50-minute class for students ages 8 and up. Beginner Ballet has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. All dancers that are at age 8  and up that have never taken ballet, will start with this class. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Suggestions: Wear black ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: black ballet shoes) Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $39 Teacher: Miranda Straka Intermediate/Advanced Ballet (Ages 9+) Intermediate/Advanced Ballet is a 55-minute class for students who have taken at least one year of ballet. This class has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. Intermediate/Advanced Ballet will help with all forms of dance.  It will teach students proper technique, give them a deeper plié, a higher relevé, a better turn-out, it improves their line, posture, flexibility, alignment and strength. It is the foundation and sets them up for other dance styles like jazz and contemporary. Even hip hop dancers can benefit from ballet. Ballet can certainly make students an all-around better dancer, and it can be fun, too! Beginner Floor, Bar, and Beam Gymnastics (Level 1 Ages 4+) NEW CLASS IN 2019-2020! In this 1-hour class, students will learn gymnastics skills on the beam, uneven bar, and floor. Similar to last year’s Gymnastics Plus classes with a new slightly new curriculum! Performance: Winter & Spring Showcase (not part of recitals) Monthly Tuition: $47 Drop-in Price: $15 Teachers: Jean Moore and assistant Intermediate Floor, Bar, and Beam Gymnastics (Level 2 Ages 7+) NEW CLASS IN 2019-2020!  In this 1-hour class, students will learn gymnastics skills on the beam, uneven bar, and floor.  Similar to last year’s Gymnastics Plus classes with a new slightly new curriculum! The gymnastics taught at Inclusion Dance are the gymnastics that can be incorporated into any dance or cheer-leading routine (there are no bars, vault, etc).  Students will learn (or begin to learn) gymnastic skills including aerials, handsprings, flip flops walkovers, handsprings, tucks, pikes, layouts, and many other tricks/skills. Requirements: Must have taken at least two years of any gymnastics class and have at least a handstand, cartwheel, any walk-over, and any split to start this class. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Monthly Tuition: $42 Drop-in Price: $13 Teachers: Jean Moore and assistant Open Gymnastics (Ages 6+ Any Level) NEW CLASS IN 2019-2020! This 45-minute class is for any gymnast at any level.  Perfect for extra practice or for those students that want a class with their friend who is at a different gymnastics level. Emphasis will be on floor gymnastics but can get some practice on uneven bars and beam. Performances: None Monthly Tuition: $37 Drop-in Price: $13 Teacher: Info coming soon… Beginner Acro (Ages 7+) In this fun 45-minute class, students will learn the basics of acrobatics, gymnastics, and dance.  Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our experienced acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks, based on each student's individual level of experience. Ninja Warrior Parkour Classes: (pronounced “par-core”)

American Ninja Warrior has created a surge of excitement in the USA, especially for young people. This exciting TV Program was actually developed out of an older form of sport called Parkour.  Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing - getting from one place to another in STYLE.  Be a part of the hottest new sport!  You will be learning how to do flips off walls and over them.  Extreme Tumbling - any obstacle becomes your playground. Classes are taught on our gym floor, using mats, blocks, and other obstacles that give the feel of an urban environment - without the danger of cement or concrete. Our Parkour program is a great outlet for energy and appeals to a wide range of ages and abilities - everyone loves to run, jump, and flip! Our parkour staff strive to make the program as safe as possible through progressions, equipment design as well as general physical and mental preparations. Groovin’ & Movin’ Adult Dance Aerobics (Ages 12-adult) This 10-week class is a fusion of many dance styles that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." This Zumba-inspired 45-minute class includes routines that feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Great for any fitness level - can be done at high or low impact. Special Classes:

Adaptive Dance & Gymnastics (Ages 7+) This class will be adapted to fit the needs of the students in the class.  We want everyone to be able to participate in dance.  So, if your body only works in certain ways, we can accommodate that.  In this 30- minute class, athletes that have disabilities are exposed to the general components of a ballet and jazz routine, such as turns, jumps and tumbling. Athletes are taught the precision of dance movements and work on memorization as they put them in sequence to music. Additionally, athletes participating in Adaptive Dance & Gymnastics class are introduced to the fundamentals of jumps and leaps, working on strength, flexibility, bridge, somersault, handstand, cartwheel, and more. Lastly, dancers work on basic turns such as chainés and single pirouettes, which challenge and strengthen their core and balance. These elements are put together into a fun and exciting dance routine that the dancers then perform at the recitals. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Monthly Tuition: $30 Teacher: Shyla Bradley Adaptive Ninja Warrior Parkour (Ages 6+) This class will be adapted to fit the needs of the students in the class.  We want everyone to be able to participate in Parkour.  So, if your body only works in certain ways, we can accommodate that.  In this 30-minute class, athletes that have disabilities are exposed to the general components of strength, flexibility and balance while challenging participants through fun. This beginner, 30-minute class is really good for your child. It teaches younger students how to listen to a teacher and make his body do what the teacher says.  It teaches problem solving, focus, perseverance, agility, strength, patience, coordination and more.  All in a naturally challenging and rewarding environment. Performance: Winter & Spring Showcase (not part of recitals) Monthly Tuition: $30 Drop-in Price: $10 Teachers: Nick Curtis and assistant Sing, Dance, Play – Parent and Child(ren) (Ages 1- 4) This 10-week class combines music, dance and educational tools for 45 minutes of unstoppable bonding, learning, and fun! Emotional development is nurtured through dancing, moving, feeling, and seeing. Your bond with your child is strengthened through spending quality time celebrating your child (and your inner child!). Balance and rhythm is developed by enhancing motor skills and learning to bounce to the beat. Your child will develop social skills by interacting with other kids and solving puzzles. In this 30-minute introductory class dancers will learn Ballet, Jazz, Tap, and creative movement for students 4 ½ to 6 years of age. Young dancers will learn the basic ballet and jazz steps while learning how to follow direction and imitate movement and gross motor skill development games in a positive and fun environment. Engaging music is used to get these little ones inspired to dance.  THIS YEAR WE ARE ADDING TWIRL TO THE GRAND DANCE CLASS!!  The TWIRL experience will add a little sparkle and merriment to your existing class curriculum! Twirl will help create a lively setting with imaginative activities that your youngest kids will love! Angelina Ballerina is a 35- minute class for students ages 5 ½ to 7. This class will be fun and dancers will begin to learn proper ballet technique and form based on the beloved Angelina Ballerina character.  Your child will be inspired to pursue their dreams of dance, just like Angelina Ballerina! Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Suggestions: Wear pink ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: all black) Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $33 Teacher: Miranda Straka Beginner Ballet (Ages 8+) Beginner Ballet is is a 50-minute class for students ages 8 and up. Beginner Ballet has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. All dancers that are at age 8  and up that have never taken ballet, will start with this class. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Suggestions: Wear black ballet attire with pink tights and pink ballet shoes (boys: black ballet shoes) Styles of Dance: Ballet Monthly Tuition: $39 Teacher: Miranda Straka Intermediate/Advanced Ballet (Ages 9+) Intermediate/Advanced Ballet is a 55-minute class for students who have taken at least one year of ballet. This class has a heavy emphasis on technique and form. Intermediate/Advanced Ballet will help with all forms of dance.  It will teach students proper technique, give them a deeper plié, a higher relevé, a better turn-out, it improves their line, posture, flexibility, alignment and strength. It is the foundation and sets them up for other dance styles like jazz and contemporary. Even hip hop dancers can benefit from ballet. Ballet can certainly make students an all- around better dancer, and it can be fun, too! Similar to last year’s Gymnastics Plus classes with a new slightly new curriculum! The gymnastics taught at Inclusion Dance are the gymnastics that can be incorporated into any dance or cheer-leading routine (there are no bars, vault, etc).  Students will learn (or begin to learn) gymnastic skills including aerials, handsprings, flip flops walkovers, handsprings, tucks, pikes, layouts, and many other tricks/skills. Requirements: Must have taken at least two years of any gymnastics class and have at least a handstand, cartwheel, any walk-over, and any split to start this class. Performances: Winter & Spring Recitals Monthly Tuition: $42 Drop-in Price: $13 Teachers: Jean Moore and assistant Open Gymnastics (Ages 6+ Any Level) NEW CLASS IN 2019-2020! This 45-minute class is for any gymnast at any level.  Perfect for extra practice or for those students that want a class with their friend who is at a different gymnastics level. Emphasis will be on floor gymnastics but can get some practice on uneven bars and beam. Performances: None Monthly Tuition: $37 Drop-in Price: $13 Teacher: Info coming soon… Beginner Acro (Ages 7+) In this fun 45-minute class, students will learn the basics of acrobatics, gymnastics, and dance.  Acro is not the typical tumbling or gymnastics class. Our experienced acro instructors will guide the class towards increased flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, discipline and concentration. This class will focus on fundamental acrobatic technique, teaching such skills as handstands, chin stands, elbow stands, cartwheels, back bends, walkovers, balance, partner lifts, and contortion tricks, based on each student's individual level of experience. And it's fun, too! Requirements: Must also be enrolled in another a dance or a gymnastics class. American Ninja Warrior has created a surge of excitement in the USA, especially for young people. This exciting TV Program was actually developed out of an older form of sport called Parkour.  Parkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing - getting from one place to another in STYLE.  Be a part of the hottest new sport!  You will be learning how to do flips off walls and over them.  Extreme Tumbling - any obstacle becomes your playground. Classes are taught on our gym floor, using mats, blocks, and other obstacles that give the feel of an urban environment - without the danger of cement or concrete. Our Parkour program is a great outlet for energy and appeals to a wide range of ages and abilities - everyone loves to run, jump, and flip! Our parkour staff strive to make the program as safe as possible through progressions, equipment design as well as general physical and mental preparations. Groovin’ & Movin’ Adult Dance Aerobics (Ages 12- adult) This 10-week class is a fusion of many dance styles that create a dynamic, exciting, and based on the principle that a workout should be "FUN AND EASY TO DO." This Zumba-inspired 45-minute class includes routines that feature aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Great for any fitness level - can be done at high or low impact.
